My Social Media and Digital Marketing Experience so far :)

I started working for Kathy and Dr Yu (Wellsprping and SightSage) since 2020. I started a Tiktok for Kathy, just for fun, and her 3rd or 4th video went viral! Since then we’ve been building her Instagram and Tiktok with the same type of format, and now she has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram and 1.7 million on Tiktok. Her videos go viral on the regular. This has helped with promoting her and Dr. Yu’s supplement company based on Traditional Chinese Medicine SightSage! It has also helped get more patients for their clinic which treates Retinitits Pigmentosa, a rare eye diseases that affects about 1% of the population (my mom has RP and that’s how we know Dr. Yu and Kathy).

Great products! I use them religiously.

I’ve also done quite a bit of digital marketing around the brand Kathyhealthtips and SightSage from newsletters, to working with Shopify, planning marketing campaigns and sales, Facebook and Instagram ads, customer service, ads on Tiktok, creating email flows, planning online events and finding creative areas of monetization. It’s been a challenging but ultimately quite entertaining with lots of funny moments hehe.

I just started volunteering for Earth Temple in exchange of studio space for my dancing in Jan 2025.

I’ve been experimenting with video reels and sharing stories, and now may embark on some newsletters! I also help clean the studio and try to attend as many classes/programs as I can per week to support and also because I really really enjoy the offerings. I always feel good after leaving Earth Temple, and Karen W. is an amazing person to be around.

I’ve been working with the collective Chimerik 似不像 since Jan 2025, and I am so impressed by their work (they are also my besties).

I’ve been creating video reels and posts to promote their upcoming shows and also show off their media (articles/publishings), and it’s been pretty great so far. Some reels have reached audiences of over 10k which is great news.

I highly recommend checking out their art and learning about their ethos they are an incredibly talented and hardworking couple.
